All LAMAVE field-based research projects are closed until further notice

In response to recent developments relating to Covid-19 and in following the orders from national and local government (Proclamation No. 929 'Declaring a State of Calamity Throughout the Philippines Due to CoronaVirus Disease 2019'; Memorandum Circular No. 20-04 'Implementation Guidelines Issued by the IATF-EID on Social Distancing and Business Operations') all LAMAVE field-based research projects are closed until further notice. We will continually reassess the situation as things develop and will post any further updates here.

We would like to thank our amazing volunteers, that took this unprecedented situation in their stride and took steps to return home safely. We would also like to thank local and provincial governments and our partners that helped assure their travel home and supported our team during this challenging time.

To all the communities we work with, please stay healthy and look after one another. We hope to be back working together soon.

Our core team will continue to work towards our research and conservation actions from home – fortunately for us there is plenty to do ;)

Finally, to each of you, stay healthy, and follow local protocols. Remember your actions not only affect you but also those around you. Now is the time for us all to work together as a global community to ride out this pandemic.

Stay safe,

The LAMAVE Family.
