Your support can help marine wildlife when it needs us most, and help prepare the next generation of Filipino conservationists.

Help us reach our target by 31 December 2026.
Help marine wildlife when it needs us most
When marine animals become stranded, injured or entangled, a timely and coordinated response can make a critical difference.
These responses require transport, veterinary care, rehabilitation, equipment and coordination. Your contribution helps LAMAVE maintain the resources needed to respond when marine wildlife needs help.
Recent wildlife rescue responses
Community members spot entangled false killer whale, prompting successful rescue in Taytay, Palawan
Rescued green sea turtle returns to Puerto Princesa waters after months of rehabilitation
Invest in the next generation of Filipino conservationists.
The future of marine conservation depends on the people who will study, understand and protect our oceans. LAMAVE provides opportunities for Filipino students to gain practical experience in marine research and conservation. These field placements help develop the skills and knowledge needed to contribute to marine science and conservation in the Philippines.
Hosting a student costs a minimum of ~USD 500 per month.
Our goal is to support at least two Filipino students, with the ambition to support four.
Your donation can help make these opportunities possible.
What a student placement provides:
Practical experience in marine research and fieldwork.
Training in research methods and data collection.
Mentorship from experienced researchers.
Exposure to conservation work in the Philippines.
Every donation counts
You can choose to support wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, Filipino student placements, or LAMAVE's wider conservation work.
