Kevin Gonzales

Kevin grew up in Dumaran, Palawan — a native of the very island communities that LAMAVE works with. With a background in Psychology, he developed a deep interest in how people relate to and interact with their environment, which naturally drew him toward community-based conservation work. Passionate about bridging the gap between science and the people it is meant to serve, Kevin joined LAMAVE to help amplify the voices of local communities and spread awareness about the importance of marine megafauna conservation in his home province.
