Are you a student looking to complete a placement in research and conservation?
This application form is targeted at students wanting to apply to LAMAVE in order to complete their On-the-Job-Training (OJT), university placement or thesis with LAMAVE.
We want to help foster the next generation of marine scientists and conservationists. As such, we strive to make further studies available to students when possible. While not always possible, we may be able to host your placement or higher education thesis (undergraduate, master’s or PhD), depending on the scope, availability, conservation priority and funding.

Please note that if you are intending to apply as a volunteer or an “Iskolar ng Dagat” Scholar and intend to use the placement as part of your studies it is important you let us know of this when you apply.
Can I suggest my own project?
Yes, however, we cannot guarantee that it will be possible. We prioritise research-based solutions to conservation challenges that align with the wider work of the NGO. Ideas that cannot be accommodated within our research sites, or do not align with the organisations wider conservation goals are unlikely to be accepted.
