HELP US BUILD THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW

THE FUTURE FUND

The Future Fund seeks to empower the next generation of aspiring science and conservation professionals by offering a one of a kind internship opportunity in the field of marine conservation and by collecting, discussing and sharing career opportunities.

Many Filipino students don’t have the opportunity to apply their learnings and build upon the field skills they need to progress in a career in marine conservation. This crucial window, post graduation, can greatly impact their future path and can discourage them from pursuing a career in marine conservation in the Philippines.

The Fund was founded with the primary goal of helping marine, environmental and biological sciences students, alumni, recent graduates and young professionals to pursue a career in marine conservation.

You can be part of this, by sponsoring a student internship.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Scholarship donations allow LAMAVE to fully support a students’ internship over the period of 3 months. Larger gifts can support multiple students and secure lasting impact. Corporations can also provide scholarship support.

WHY GIVE?

With and estimated shortfall of 19,000 scientists in the Philippines , there’s never been a more urgent time than today to invest in tomorrow’s conservation science leaders.

LAMAVE’s Future Fund helps channel resources to specific students that can directly impact the marine conservation work done here in the Philippines.
