The Cebu Marine Animal Rescue Network (CMARNET) was created in 2012 as a collaboration between the local government, police department, and non governmental organizations. CEMARNET responds to marine wildlife strandings on the island of Cebu, and conducts stranding workshop trainings that provide comprehensive response strategies for marine wildlife rescue.
LAMAVE is a CEMARNET partner and is directly involved in the rescue and release of marine wildlife in Cebu. LAMAVE is also a key contributor during marine wildlife stranding rescue trainings organized by the municipal and provincial government of Cebu.
To contact CEMARNET or to report a stranding, please call 032 255 4031 or 032 253 0332.
